Popularly known actor,perhaps known for his performance as willy wonker is dead.He died at his home located at stamford connecticut at the age of 83.His beloved nephew spoke about how wilder tried battling Alzheimer's disease and why they chose to keep the information about his health private until his death.
Gene was married to four wives, unfortunately his third wife passed away in thr year 1989 when she never succeeded in battling ovarian cancer,but he has been able to maintain about 25years of marital life,married to his fourth wife.
These were words from his nephew after his death.
"We understand for all the physical and emotional challenges this situation have presented, we have been among the lucky ones .This illness-pirate,unlike in so many cases,never stole his ability to recognize those that were closest to him nor took command of his central-gentle-life affirming core personality.The decision to wait until the time to disclose his condition wasn't vanity,but more so the countless young children that would call out to him, 'there is willy wonka',will not have to be then exposed to an adult referencing illness or trouble and causing delight to travel to worry,disappointment or confusion.He simply couldn't bear the idea of one less smile in the world".
Futhermore,wonka's nephew and spoke about his what wonka loves and briefly about his wedding of his forth wife.What great loss,all condolences to his families.
